April Fools! Satoshi Mochida x Reader

"[Name], do you mind giving this to Satoshi for me?"

Naomi Nakashima stood next to you, holding out an envelope.

"Oh...sure Naomi." you replied.

"Thanks! And uh...don't tell him it's from me okay?" she replied somewhat shyly. You raised an eyebrow.

"Well...okay then." you nodded, scratching the back of your head. It was probably a love letter or something. You turned your head to see Satoshi looking at some of his notes. [1]

"Hey...Satoshi?" You walked up to him, causing him to look up. "Yes [Name]?"

"Here." You handed him the envelope, before walking away. Being a childhood friend of his, you had a crush on Satoshi for a while. It hurt a bit for you to be the deliverer of a love letter from someone else to him.

"Erm...thanks?" He was about to ask you what it was but you had already walked away.

You sighed, slumping in your chair slightly. Out of the corner of your eyes, you could see Satoshi reading the paper and turning beet-red. Knew it was a love letter.

You sighed once more, before turning your attention to the giggling Naomi and Seiko. You tried not to bear a grudge against Naomi as she was a very good friend of yours, but it was a pain with jealousy getting in the way.

You were about to take out a book to read when you noticed Satoshi was standing beside you, face still red.

"...What's up Satoshi?"

"Er...[N-Name], I-I'm...really not sure how to respond to this b-but..." You cut him off, "Eh? About what?"

He held the letter up to you. Your [e/c] eyes scanned the paper in front of you, before immediately widening.

Because on the letter, typed out, was...

Dear Satoshi...

I'm not sure how to say this, but I really like you...more then a friend. I have for quite some time.

I'm embarrassed just typing this...And I know you probably don't like me back...

But I really have to get that off my chest, I'm sorry if that was too much for you...

All I can really do now is pray you like me back...Er....if you don't then it's okay....just be honest.

Your face turned as red as a strawberry. You jumped up from your chair so fast your chair fell to the floor, causing almost everyone in the class to turn their attention to you.

"I-I DIDN'T WRITE THAT!!" you practically yelled. "I SWEAR TO GOD IT WASN'T ME!"

You turned your attention turned towards Naomi and Seiko, who were still giggling. You marched your way towards them and tapped them both on their shoulders.

"Oh uh...hey [Name]! What's up?" asked Seiko with a nervous grin.

"DON'T 'WHAT'S UP' ME! YOU KNOW PERFECTLY WELL WHAT'S UP!" Both Seiko and Naomi looked like they trying their hardest not to laugh.

"April Fools [Name]!" they both said at the same time, causing you to get even madder. You tore the love letter out of the confused, red-faced Satoshi's hands and showed it to them.

"WHAT KIND OF A SICK APRIL FOOLS JOKE IS THIS?!" you yelled angrily. Seiko and Naomi both got out of their chairs and ran away giggling.

"I SWEAR WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU TWO...!"

As he watched the scene unfold, Satoshi slowly turned his attention to the ground.

"I didn't even get to tell her I liked her back..." he mumbled.

At that moment, Yoshiki walked up to Satoshi and put a hand on his shoulder with a slight grin on his face. "Eh, don't worry. Something tells me she already knows." he said with slight teasing tone in his voice, causing Satoshi to blush even more.


 
[1] For those who are wondering why this is taking place in the middle of class, just pretend they all have free time to chill and hang out or something.
